Greetings, my dear friends. Here is the 3rd installment of discourses from the First Church of the Presence of God.
PLEASE FORGIVE THE POOR AUDIO QUALITY AND OCCASIONAL BLURRING. This is due to poor technology from Logitech. I have gotten a new camera and a membership at X-Split, so I should be good to go... as soon as I make my way over the learning curve.
A text version of Smoking Mirrors will follow shortly; whatever it is that 'shortly' amounts to. I've no idea of what that means presently but I'm guessing it means in a sooner time frame than something like, 'much later on'

I just wanted to say that the simple adjustment to the lighting you did in this video makes for a major improvement in the look! I look forward to when you get your new camera and audio setup working. Great message, your presentations are informative, enjoyable, and greatly appreciated.
I wanted to share an idea regarding the nature of the Ineffable, it has to do with how things were presented to me when I was very young and exposed to Catholic catechism. The notion of a deity individually creating everything as if the universe were a giant tinker-toy set never set well and never really connected with me. In the course of my feeble attempts at meditation and contemplation, I found myself instead considering the nature of the Ineffable and of creation to be more like a tree, where every single leaf is an individual expression of a living thing, instead of a creation of that living entity.
A tree doesn't think "ok, now I'm going to create another leaf... closing its eyes and gritting its teeth (so to speak) until yet another leaf emerges. It simply is, and as part of its existence it creates leaves that emerge, grow for a while, then eventually wither and die. I don't know if this analogy will connect with anyone else, but I wanted to share it with you because it made a lot of sense to me and has helped me to quell a lot of the doubts I once had regarding the existence of the Ineffable.
